Yogyakarta, February 10, 2025 – In a meaningful effort to strengthen ties and deepen collaboration between the two institutions, STIE Makassar Bongaya and Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta (UPY) held an engaging audience session at the Rectorate Meeting Room, Building A of UPY, on February 10, 2025.
The event was attended by several key leaders from UPY, including Armansyah Prasakti, S.H., SPn., M.H. (Chairman of the UPY Education Foundation Supervisory Board), Drs. John Sabari, M.Si. (Chairman of the UPY Education Foundation Management Board), Prof. Dr. Ir. Paiman, M.P. (Rector of UPY), along with other notable figures such as Dr. Dra. Tri Siwi Nugrahani, S.E., M.Si. (Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law), and Taufik Muhtarom, M.Pd., Ph.D. (Head of the Office of Cooperation Affairs at UPY).
Representing STIE Makassar Bongaya were Prof. Dr. Hj. Jannati Tangngisalu, S.E., M.M. (Chairperson of STIE Makassar Bongaya) and Dr. Ir. Syamsul Alam, S.T., M.M. (Vice Chair II for Finance and Human Resources).
The primary goal of the meeting was to strengthen the well-established collaboration between UPY’s Faculty of Business and Law and STIE Makassar Bongaya, while also promoting the implementation of the tri dharma of higher education: education, research, and community service. This collaboration is expected to yield positive impacts for both institutions, particularly in enhancing the quality of education and developing competent human resources.
The event proceeded smoothly, with a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. Both institutions expressed their commitment to continuously developing mutually beneficial cooperation for the benefit of students, faculty members, and the wider community. There is strong hope that this partnership will continue to grow and bring long-term benefits to the higher education sector.
