UPY and Sripatum University Collaborate to Advance the Future of Digital Education

Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta (UPY) and Sripatum University, Thailand, have officially established an academic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during a virtual ceremony held on Thursday, February 13, 2025. This agreement aims to create more opportunities for students through international online classes and student exchange programs.

UPY Rector, Prof. Ir. Dr. Paiman, M.P., stated that the collaboration is a significant step toward expanding access to global education. “We are very enthusiastic about this opportunity. This partnership not only enables cross-border learning but also enriches the academic experiences of our students and faculty,” said Prof. Paiman.

On behalf of Sripatum University, Vice President Associate Prof. Dr. Wirat Lertpaitoonpan emphasized that the partnership marks a crucial milestone in enhancing the global competitiveness of both institutions.
“We believe that through this collaboration, students and faculty will gain broader insights and more diverse academic experiences. This is a strategic step in facing the challenges of education in the digital era,” said Dr. Wirat.

Through the signing of this MoU, both universities are committed to continued innovation in providing high-quality and globally relevant learning experiences. This marks the beginning of a range of collaborative programs that will open greater opportunities for students and academics from both institutions.
