This partnership aims to strengthen institutional collaboration in education, research, and community service in alignment with the three pillars of higher education (Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi). The collaboration is expected to foster greater synergy between the academic world and the research community, particularly in the development of research that responds to societal needs and public policy.

“This cooperation lays a solid foundation for the exchange of expertise and experience through various academic activities such as seminars, training sessions, and joint research that can lead to meaningful innovation and scientific publications,” stated Prof. Dr. Ir. Paiman, M.P., Rector of UPY.

The event also featured a discussion session exploring future collaboration opportunities, followed by a guided tour of the learning laboratories within UPY’s Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Science and Technology. Guests were invited to observe hands-on activities in the Nutrition Science program and had the chance to experience the electric car named “Gosix,” designed and assembled by PVTO students — a tangible example of UPY students’ creativity and independence.

Through this synergy, UPY and PPI DIY are committed to building a productive and impactful ecosystem for research and innovation while opening up broader opportunities for lecturers and students to engage in technological development and scholarly inquiry.

This partnership is envisioned to establish a long-term collaboration that contributes to the advancement of science, technology, and community welfare both locally and nationally.
